Adapt to Positive Change - Commit To Get Fit!

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” Charles Darwin

I can help you change your unhealthy lifestyle if you really want help. Do you? You gotta wanna - before you can even adapt to a new lifestyle and change.

Why do you have so many excuses for staying fat and unhealthy?

Ginger and Lucky say: “Take that cardio walk today – one hour split into 2 or 3 manageable chunks if you’re just beginning. If we can do it, you can, too!

Commit To Get Fit with our mom!

Do it for your health. Do it for your life.”

“If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be unhappy for the rest of your life.”  Abraham Maslow,

The FTC Says:

Sensa and HCG Diet are fakes & accuses them of deceptive advertising & unfounded weight loss claims-"the science isn't there" says Jessica Rich of the FTC.

Sensa sprinkles (Invented & backed by a NW Doctor, no less) and HCG Diet potions are useless for weight loss as are all other pills, patches, potions, creams and lotions that claim rapid weight loss without diet and exercise.

There is no other way to lose weight and keep it off than to Commit To Get Fit and Find the Secret to Your Own True and Everlasting Weight Loss once and for all. Period.

Tired of looking like this?

Cut those carbs and do an hour of cardio a day and watch your weight fall off. There is no other way. I'm living proof!

Can Upward Mobility Cost You Your Health?

Being obese will cost you your health - nothing else matters right now.

It all comes down to Personal Responsibility - rather than blaming everything else under the dang sun for why you're fat.

Eating less white starch and sugar combined with daily cardio will help you do the trick and find your way out of chronic obesity's grip. I lived there for a lifetime, so I know.

Socioeconomics have nothing to do with what a person really eats or the foods they're addicted to.

My new book, Commit To Get Fit: Find the Secret to Your Own True and Everlasting Weight Loss tells you how.

Question to ask yourself right now at the beginning of the New Year:

Why Do You Have SO Many Excuses?

For everything.

See this NYT article, Can Upward Mobility Cost You Your Health, if you have time. It's rather lengthy: http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/01/04/can-upward-mobility-cost-you-your-health/?emc=edit_tnt_20140105&tntemail0=y&_r=0

A Calorie is a Calorie is a Calorie - Except When it's a Carb

A calorie is a calorie is a calorie - except when it’s a carbohydrate and you over produce insulin – then those calories make you fat, regardless.

Progresso Soups – Light? 100 calories or less, the ad says. Eat this to lose weight?

I think not.

How ‘bout those carbs?

Eat more than 35 gr of carbs a day and you won’t lose an ounce. Even if you combine it with an hour of exercise daily. A good, healthy diet and daily cardio go hand in hand. Not one or the other. Both.

Be carb conscious and Find the Way to Your Own True and Everlasting Weight Loss success – by Committing to Get Fit!  And counting those carbs combined with daily cardio!

You won’t find weight loss success by counting calories, alone.

It’s really the carbs that make you fat. NOT dietary fat.

Sorry . . .

“Truth in advertising?"

Beware of those carbs.

Read the labels. Decide for yourself.

Healthy Holiday Eating Tip #1:

The bottom line for anyone who wants to keep a grip on their weight and not pack on any more pounds during these year-end holidays or any holiday is: Don’t let yourself get seduced by your favorite foods and drinks. It’s SO not worth it. Eat them in total moderation when you have to.

Holiday Happenings are just excuses to keep eating more, to keep wallowing in the same old behavior that got you in trouble in the first place.

Tell me I'm wrong.

It’s up to you to break the cycle of allowing yourself the excuse to continue gorging and packing it in till the day after when those ugly, unhealthy, unwanted pounds will surely puff out your face, tummy, hips and big butt.

Remember: you wear exactly what you eat.

A heaping tablespoon of your favorite food should do you, and then let that be it! Why do you need more?

Make “Walk and weigh every single day” your health and fitness mantra through all holidays, birthdays, Super Bowl and beyond.

One very important aspect of motivation is to find the willingness to stop and realistically look at exactly what you’re eating and the way you’re behaving that keeps your weight on, and do something about it.

This simple process of focusing on foods that you normally take for granted, like what you think is healthy eating, is a powerful source for improved health, wellness, happiness and creativity.”

Get creative – make these Holiday Eating Survival Tips your own.

Your New Mantra: EAT LESS CARBS – DO MORE DAILY CARDIO.
You’ll be glad you did!
And there are NO excuses.

Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!
